In this session we invited a multi-generational cross section of society and leaders in the field to outline their one big idea to inspire action for nature.

How do we measure the effectiveness of good green space and maximise its long term benifit? We look at the critical role of maintenance and place-keeping to fully benefit from the services that nature can offer.    

To enable towns and cities to serve both nature and their citizens well, we need the correct policies and design standards. So, what should be the standard for building with nature? 

The connection between our health and nature is changing prescriptions from doctors. Public perception is towards natural systems and who is responsible for their success is also chaging. how can be extract the maximum benifit from Biodiversity Nett Gains for nature and ourselves? 

Nature Recovery Networks increase carbon capture, reduce flood risk, improve water quality, boost tourist and benefit public health and wellbeing. But how do we connect this netowrk we have created for the prosperity of nature? 

How can cities encompass nature as a focus for decision making, and answer questions such as; what has the legislation done to transform the building sector? And how are biodiversity action plans & biodiversity net gain affecting planning?

Enthusiasm for nature in the general public is growing, between between 2014 & 2018 the number of people highly engaged with issues associated with biodiversity loss doubled. How can we utilise our collective societal capitol for the benifit of nature?  

A look at the threat to biodiversity as the built environment continues to threaten and even completely destroy crucial habitats. Specifically, we will look at aspects addressing the challenges faced.
